In she flounced swirling her gold and russet skirts
dancing flirtatiously on the whispering wind,
she blew soft sensual kisses across the ears of corn
until they swayed excitedly in her loving caress.
Rich and ripe berries blushed in the hedgerows,
juices exploding at her slightest tender touch,
and apples tingled in their sweet tasteful skins
rosy red, waiting to be plucked by gentle hands.
Trees began to sleep naked in lovely long shadows,
whilst twilight came sooner and ever more alluring.
The summer, no longer fiery spread cool amber sheets
as she rustled and bustled with autumnal coverlets,
temptingly seduced and produced with fruitful love,
delightfully enhanced and entranced with beauty.
This was sweet seductive September
