Dear Daddy ~ Pentaiku poem

Dear daddy where does the wind go to please?
Round the sun and moon
they play chasing games each day
then it fades away
Dear daddy why does the sea come and go?
The moon calls to it
sadly pulling it away
it comes back next day
Dear daddy why do mountains never fall?
They have quite big feet
but they hide them underground
to keep strong and sound
Dear daddy why do stars shine in the sky?
I am not sure son
I sometimes wonder why too
maybe it’s for you

This is so beautiful, Stella. the rhyming of the third and forth lines in each stanza makes the piece perfect and the end lines are divine.

Absolutely gorgeous and my favourite stanza is where the mountains have quite big feet, although I love all the stanzas. A great contribution for Tom's new form Stella.
