Take Me Away

I lit a lamp last night
Filled it to the brim
Gazed at it for long
While musing deep
Its light made way
Through my dense heart
In relief I forgot
To fill it again

It was wonderful that you had no need to fill it again Prashant...a single light can be used in a very meditative way..

Mesmerized to such a degree by the light that the narrator, perhaps, neglected to refill the lamp, Prashant? Or, as Stella notes, there was no need to refill the lamp for the purpose of it was fulfilled in one filling. Very nicely done, my friend.

Candle light can be so soothing and relaxing with the light can bring peace after a hard day's work. I am sure you will fill the lamp whenever you need to and thank you for sharing Prashant.
