'The Worlds local bank' is now living abroad
Says the critic they call 'Mutton Jeff'
Bankers poor bonuses tripled and soared
And 'The listening bank' has gone deaf

'Fluent in finance' the bankers profess
And if we are having it rough
There's always a banker, to cause us distress
'Because Life's complicated enough'

They're 'giving you extra' whilst making a mess
And watching their huge profits grow
The bank that just loves you and 'likes to say yes'
Now hates you and simply says NO!

And lately the trend has become nation wide
They court you with sympathy ploys
It's lovely to know that they're now 'on your side'
And we're simply just one of the boys
