Wandering through time
Memories held within the heart
Stilled forever
Of our lives they are a part
Treasure each passing moment
Let it fill your heart with joy
Compassion be your companion
As you walk your path of life
Never fail to mention love that’s held within
Be it passion be it pain
it’s all part of who your are
The live you have lived
Pour out your heart
Let it write the page
Life can be cruel ~ life can be kind
A pattern of deception
Searching for truth we travel blind
Look in the mirror what do you see?
A portrait or reflection
Ask yourself is that me?
Where is the girl of long ago?
Has she aged gracefully?
Look inside yourself
Truth there you will see
I look again how lucky I am
Bitterness not part of God’s master plan
The girl inside still remains
Reflected in the mirrors gaze
Wisdom my council
Though learnt late in life
Some roads were heavy
Some roads were light
The clocks ticks on
My eyes are open wide
How long does it take?
