Faraway i believed in you
and the rain
the beautiful rain
and the haze of purple
haze of dawn
and the light
oh, the beautiful light
faraway i believed in you
through the night
in the rain
the beautiful rain
and the tears
the beautiful tears
oh, how we cried
how we laughed
and we kissed
in the rain
skin, wet on skin
lost in the moments
faraway when i believed in you.

Hi Stella. A beautiful write about memories of love. Heartfelt and introspective. Good imagery and descriptives. Good flow and line to line transition and breaks. Nice rhythm. Deep expression of emotion; sensual, yet there's a sense of sadness and pain. Good word choice as is the use of repetition for emphasis of feeling. Well penned. Write on.

How lovely but how sad memories floating through the mind and somehow the rain seemed to add a kind of softness - a bitter sweet poem
