Just For You Poetry

I will honor you...
my God and my Creator;
on this very day, and
not a moment later.

Praise You for the glory,
for all things great and grand;
for sunsets... for sunrises,
all painted by Your hand.

I will sing Your song of songs,
to people that will listen;
in the throes of happiness,
or where a tear will glisten.

I'll bow my head in prayer and peace,
and confess to You, all sin;
and seek forgiveness in Your name,
for places where I've been.

I lay all at Your feet,
the trials and all the trouble;
and then I'll dust myself right off,
and rise above the rubble.
