Christmas is the time when we send cards and meet up with family and friends, saving a few moments to remember those that are not with us now is a lovely and caring thing to do.

Memories are precious and raising a toast to loved ones on Christmas day is a wonderful remembrance to them.

i am enjoying these haibun poems Sandra, you were always excellent at relating real life into stories and at writing haiku, here you have your two strengths married into one beautiful poetic format.

I love your poetic phrases Fay, it is true that when you vent anger at someone you are really hurting yourself, anger like jealousy is a very negative emotion.

I see that this is a word of conjecture David. I must admit that i had to look it up, but the more i say it now that i know its meaning the more i like it.

It is good to learn new words because it enhances our scope of language especially for us creative writers.
